Summer
Mid-April till June
This is the prime time for unforgettable wildlife sightings! The pre-monsoon dry spell will thin out the lush brush, making it easier to spot elusive animals on safari. Plus, you don't have to worry about the heat because our air-conditioned rooms will keep you cool, even when temperatures soar above 45°C during this season.
Your packing list for this season should include:
- Sunglasses
- Hat with a broad brim
- Light scarf (which can double as a stylish head covering for safaris or open-air jeep excursions if you don't have a hat)
- Light cotton tops and bottoms
- Comfortable walking sandals and shoes
- Shorts
- Bug spray or cream
- Your favourite swimsuit for delightful pool dips
- Favorite summer dress or dress shorts to enjoy drinks on the rooftop lounge in the evenings
Monsoon
Mid-April till June
While the rains refresh the land, they also invite pesky bugs, mosquitoes, and lizards indoors. To keep them out, simply close doors and windows. Additionally, switch off lights when not needed, as bugs are drawn to light. Lastly, go easy on the perfumes and scents, as strong fragrances can attract unwanted guests!
Your packing list for this season should include:
- Bug spray or cream (apply if necessary)
- Light cotton pants and tops
- Waterproof sandals or shoes
- Light rain jacket for excursions or safaris
- That book you've been meaning to read....by the pool or under the trees
Winter
Mid-April till June
With temperatures dropping to 5 degrees Celsius at night, our rooms offer heaters to keep you warm. Enjoy fire pits, bonfires, and barbecues! During the day, bask in the sun on a nature walk or jeep excursion, or simply relax with a hot beverage!
Your packing list for this season should include:
- Warm jackets and sweaters
- Warm socks and shoes
- Woollen scarf or shawl
- Winter Hat
- Sunglasses
- A journal and a pen for your dreams and ideas
