Luv Shekhawat has always felt a profound connection with nature, inspired by his grandfather's stories of the Sariska Tiger Reserve, once a thriving haven of wildlife. These stories, rich with tales of natural beauty and biodiversity, left an indelible mark on Luv. Motivated by his grandfather’s dedication to conservation, Luv decided to devote his life to preserving the environment.
The Foundation
After completing his education, Luv embarked on a mission to establish a sanctuary where people could reconnect with nature and wildlife could once again thrive. He identified a barren stretch of land on the outskirts of the Sariska Tiger Reserve and envisioned transforming it into a lush haven. Undeterred by the challenge, Luv sought his grandfather's guidance, and together, they embarked on the rigorous task of revitalising the land.

Luv's passion and dedication to nature were manifest in every facet of his work. Each seed he planted and every tree he nurtured bore witness to his profound affection for the environment. His vision extended beyond merely creating a physical space; he sought to cultivate a deeper bond between humanity and nature. "When I was conceptualising the space for Utsav Camp Sariska, one of the most important points was to not disturb the trees. I tried to build around the trees and that’s why sometimes you’ll find one seemingly growing out of nowhere!
I’ve travelled to many destinations, but Utsav Camp Sariska is still my favourite place to be. I hope you’ll fall in love with it as much as I have."
